BOOKKEEPER AND HUMAN RESOURCES JJ Prinsloo Boerdery Pty Ltd seeks to employ a dynamic, qualified bookkeeper with human resource experience to join our team in avocado and macadamia farming. The successful candidate will be a well-experienced, hands- on, motivated individual responsible for all HR administration and support and bookkeeping. Requirements: Min of 7 years bookkeeping and general accounting principles experience, up to trial balance. Min of 7 years human resource experience with good knowledge of the BCEA. Sound computer skills (Microsoft Office programmes – Word, Excel (advance), PowerPoint etc). Accounting programmes: Pastel Accounting/Sage (Experience in Xero accounting is a bonus.) Payroll programmes: VIP Payrol/EasyPay or similar Must be literate and conversant in Afrikaans and English with good interpersonal skills at all levels. The ability to give meticulous attention to detail, whilst working under pressure. Agricultural office environment will be an advantage•with knowledge of GlobalG.A.P and SIZA . Additional information: Full-time position•Office hours: 7:30•16:30 Monday to Friday. Location: Office is situated in Kiepersol/Hazyview area, Mpumalanga. Relocation: Housing available on the farm but not compulsory to live on site. Salary: Negotiable Driver`s Licence: Successful candidate must have a valid South African driver`s license The successful candidate is responsible for maintaining day to day financial accounting, administrative and personnel tasks to meet requirements and support company operations. The accountant reports directly to the Directors and is responsible to provide support to the rest of the company team.
