Job Title: Stock Controller –Grocery Store

Job Description:

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Stock Controller to join our FMCG grocery store. The role focuses on controlling stock movement, shelf packing using FIFO, and maintaining accurate stock records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, check and record incoming stock

• Pack and rotate stock on shelves using FIFO (First In, First Out)

• Monitor stock levels and identify shortages or overstock

• Perform regular stock counts and assist with stock takes

• Report damaged, expired or missing stock

• Keep the stock room and shelves neat and organised

• Work closely with pickers, packers and store management

Requirements:

• Previous Stock Controller experience (FMCG or grocery store preferred)

• Understanding of FIFO

• Good attention to detail

• Honest, reliable and well-organised

• Able to work under pressure

• Basic computer or stock system knowledge is an advantage
