Location: Table View Butchery, 264 Blaauwberg Road, Table View, 7441, South Africa Cape Town

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Blockman with a strong background in breaking down beef, lamb, and pork carcasses. The ideal candidate will have expertise in portioning steaks to specific weights, maintaining high hygiene standards, and providing excellent customer service in a retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Break down beef, lamb, and pork carcasses efficiently and safely.

Portion steaks and other cuts to precise weights.

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the work area.

Serve customers with professionalism and courtesy.

Ensure quality and consistency in all cuts.

Requirements:

4 to 5 years of experience as a Blockman or Deboner.

Proficient in English.

Excellent hygiene and a positive personality.

Ability to serve customers effectively in a retail setting.

Willingness to undergo a practical test during the interview process.

Work Hours:

Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Saturday: 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Sunday: Optional
