Our client in the mining industry, has an opportunity available for a TMM Foreman, to be based in the Brits area.Requirements:NQF level 4 (National Senior Certificate or Grade 12 or Adult Senior Certificate) with English literacy or N3 in Engineering StudiesDiesel Mechanic/Fitter/Electrical trade certificate ( Sec 13 or 26D)Completed formal learnership programme prior to obtaining a trade testForeman Certification will be advantageousAt least 5 years’ experience as an artisan prior to being a foremanAt least 3 years experience as a TMM ForemanExperience in Drill Rigs, UVs, LHDs, Bobcats, ManitousSupervisory management skillsComputer literacy in MS OfficeMedical Certificate of FitnessDuties:Manage and supervise TMM teams undergroundAssist in implementation of asset management strategiesMentoring of artisansManaging of a maintenance budgetDevelopment of subordinatesImplementation of engineering standards and proceduresAdherence to Mine Health and Safety Act Regulations
