DELIVERY DRIVERS REQUIRED

Are you a reliable and experienced driver with a clean driving record? Our client, a well-established logistics company serving the Gauteng region, is seeking dedicated Delivery Drivers to join their operations based in Gauteng, ZA**. This role involves the timely and safe transportation of goods to various customer locations. The ideal candidate will be familiar with navigating the local road networks, possess excellent time management skills, and be committed to providing exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for operating a delivery vehicle, loading and unloading cargo, and ensuring all deliveries are completed accurately and efficiently. This is a hands-on role that requires physical stamina and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities: Operate a delivery vehicle safely and efficiently in accordance with company policies and traffic laws. Plan and execute daily delivery routes to optimize time and fuel consumption. Load and unload goods carefully, ensuring proper handling and securing of all items. Verify delivery orders against loaded items to ensure accuracy. Obtain necessary signatures and confirmations from recipients upon delivery. Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions. Maintain the cleanliness and basic maintenance of the assigned vehicle. Report any vehicle issues, accidents, or delivery discrepancies promptly to management. Adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures. Manage delivery schedules and communicate any delays or issues proactively. Collect payments or proof of delivery as required.
Qualifications and Skills: Valid South African Code 10 driver's license with a clear driving record. Professional Driving Permit (PDP) is mandatory. Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role. Familiarity with the road networks in Gauteng, particularly area. Excellent driving skills and a strong commitment to road safety. Good physical condition, with the ability to lift and carry packages of varying weights. Strong time management and organizational skills. Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude. Effective communication skills for interacting with customers and dispatchers. Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.
