Shift Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Shift Supervisor to join our warehouse operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing picking, loading, dispatch, quality control, and team performance to ensure products are accurately picked, packed, loaded, and delivered according to customer specifications and company standards. This role requires strong leadership, planning, and operational management skills within a fast-paced warehousing and distribution environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate warehouse picking, loading, and dispatch operations.
• Ensure products are accurately picked, packed, wrapped, staged, and loaded for delivery.
• Manage daily shift planning, staffing, and resource allocation.
• Conduct team briefings and monitor productivity, safety, quality, and accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, DQSP requirements, and operational procedures.
• Investigate and resolve stock, loading, and dispatch discrepancies.
• Maintain loading documentation and ensure accurate record keeping.
• Train and develop warehouse staff while ensuring certification and compliance requirements are met.
• Drive continuous improvement in productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 with Higher Grade Mathematics.
• Relevant Diploma, Degree, or tertiary qualification.
• 23 years' experience in Warehousing and Distribution Shift Management.
• Experience in people management and disciplinary processes.
• Experience within the Warehousing, Distribution, QSR, or FMCG sectors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Advanced Excel.
• Experience with Great Plains ERP systems will be advantageous.
