Requirements: BSc. / BEng. / BTech. Civil or Structural Engineering degreeExperienced in buildings-focused and / or water retaining structures Structural Engineering experience across different structural forms, construction materials, design stages and project sectors.Strong analytical knowledge and understanding of engineering principles, combined with practical understanding of buildings and construction.Experience in approval, review, management, preparation and checking of well-presented design calculations, notes, reports and general correspondence.Conversant with design and building codes with leading industry analysis and design software.Duties include:Structural engineering design of projects.Working as part of a team to carry out hands-on design for a variety of projects, including appropriate use of technical analysis and design software packages.Liaising with other project members and Clients from inception to completion.Working closely with designers of other disciplines to produce coordinated designs.Managing the production of models, drawings, reports and specifications to budgets and deadlinesAnalysing, designing, specification and report writing.
