- Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, filling, cleaning, and priming materials
- Apply paints, stains, lacquers, and varnishes using spray equipment
- Ensure consistent, high-quality finishes across all furniture products
- Mix paints and match colors according to specifications
- Inspect finished products for defects such as runs, bubbles, or uneven coating
- Maintain spray booths, spray guns, and related equipment
- Adhere to health & safety standards, including proper use of PPE
- Work closely with production and quality control teams to meet deadlines
- Assist with general workshop duties when required
Requirements:
- 2 5+ years experience as a spray painter
- Experience working with wood, veneers, MDF, or similar materials
- Knowledge of different finishes
- Ability to use spray guns and related equipment effectively
- Good understanding of surface preparation techniques
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
Advantageous:
- Experience in office furniture manufacturing
- Knowledge of industrial coatings and finishing systems
- Experience working in a high-volume production environment
