RED SEAL QUALIFIED CODED WELDER
Qualipak, a leading engineering company based in Paarl, specialising in equipment for the food and beverage industry, is looking for a highly skilled Red Seal Qualified Coded Welder to join our team in a hands-on team leader role.
This role is ideal for a quality-driven artisan who takes pride in their workmanship and can perform in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while guiding and supporting junior welders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Legally authorised to work in South Africa
- Recognised Trade Test Certificate (Red Seal)
- Minimum 5+ years’ welding experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proven experience in:
- SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding)
- GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding)
- GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding)
- Purge (pipe) welding
- Aluminium welding
- Valid driver’s licence
Key Attributes:
- Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship
- Reliable, responsible, and deadline-driven
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Willingness to work overtime when required
- Able to work both in the workshop and on-site
