A Millwright

*Reference: JHB002191-RD-1* Our client is looking for a Millwright who will contribute towards the business success by ensuring that machinery and equipment are installed and maintain according to the required standard. *Area*: Harrismith * * *Main Duties* * Repair, install and manufacture equipment according to standard. * Maintain plant mechanical equipment to reduce downtime and increase plant availability. * Conduct regular inspection to identify and report all defective equipment. * Attend planned and abnormal standby duties and respond to breakdowns. * Prepare cables and electrical cables for maintenance or connection. * Maintain and repair electrical equipment according to the required standard. * Maintain and repair plant instrumentation and control system. * Perform general housekeeping according to the required standard. * Complete job cards and determine job requirements on the job cards. * **Work Experience* * Must have Grade 12 /N3 with mathematics and science. * Have relevant trade test * Have a valid driver’s license with own transport. * Have 3 years’ experience (preferably in a Paper Mill environment)  *Core Competencies* * Pay attention to detail. * Be able to perform jobs on his/her own and as a team. * Results orientated Work Conditions * Overtime as required. * Work rotational shifts.
