New role is available for a Code 10 Driver for our client in the Chemical & Hygiene Industry based in George. Code 10 with PDP and Dangerous Goods and Hazchem Duties: Load and deliver customer orders daily as per the delivery schedule for the George and surrounding areas. Check and ensure correct quantities are delivered to customers. Check and ensure correct quantities are collected from suppliers. Ensure delivery / collection documents are completed accurately for finance purposes. Ensure vehicle is neatly packed to prevent damages and breakages. Do daily vehicle checks and report any mechanical defects/unroadworthy issues immediately. Ensure the delivery vehicle is always clean. Liaise with customer / suppliers professionally and ensure trips are planned prior to departure from the office. Minor technical assistance at customer level with regards to the servicing of electronic dosing equipment and general maintenance from time to time. Assist with below items when so required: Movement of products/ stock in and out of warehouse. packaging of stock onto shelves. Picking and packing of customer orders. The Code 10 Driver will be transporting bulk chemicals to different clients in George and Swellendam areas SECTOR: Chemical

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
Relevant Diploma in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, and related fields
ISO certification

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
Relevant bachelor’s degree in quality, Manufacturing, Engineering and related fields

 

EXPERIENCE
At least 5 years relevant Quality Assurance & Quality Control experience in a Quality Supervisory role in Automotive or Manufacturing

 

TECHNICAL PRE-REQUISITE

Quality Control and Quality Assurance :Understanding of QMS is critical
Reads and Interprets Quality specification data with un understanding of company policies and internal controls

Proficient in.Auto CAD, Poly Works Faro programs

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Overseeing all quality aspects and ensure all products conforms to the applicable approved standards and specifications.
Champion the implementation and monitoring of ITAF and make recommendations.
Investigate and resolve Quality Non- conformances.

Job Title: Sales Engineer (Projects)

The successful incumbent will be responsible for:

• Support the development of the customer database and build long-term relationships by understanding and interpreting project requirements.
• Assist in promoting and selling products/services that meet customer needs in terms of scope, quality, pricing, and delivery timelines.
• Contribute to the preparation of accurate project proposals, including costing models, procurement sheets, PFDs, P&IDs, and detailed quotations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure smooth operations and strategic alignment within the company and the broader group
• Manage PGM (Platinum Group Metals) procurement and inventory, supporting various teams with forecasts and problem-solving, and ensuring the uninterrupted supply of key components
• Identify and ensure correction variances in PGM pool inventory volumes at each of the coaters and canners by doing monthly variance reports from SAP to ensure the correct price level
• Conduct audit physical inventory at the location at each of the canners at the end of the year to ensure correct stock levels
• Analyse inventory requirements by verifying the quantities with the suppliers to sustain the PGM supply chain
• Prepare and present, for approval, the Financial Liquidity report to ensure that we are within budget
• Prepare and issue PGM purchase order authorisations to PGM traders via SAP to ensure the timely availability of PGMs
• Analyse and approve PGM purchase invoices received from the suppliers to ensure alignment with pre-approved pricing parameters for PGM purchases
• Issue PGM sales invoices generated from SAP to PGM exporters to ensure timely financial recovery within the stipulated cost model time frame
• Prepare the Bill of Materials for each component in SAP by creating and maintaining the correct specification level to prevent over- and under-recovery
