Solar PV Electrical Engineer Market Related

In this position you will be expected to project manage and interface between all the engineering disciplines, providing technical input from initial assessment through to technical and economic feasibility of solar pv projects. Designing overall commercial and industrial (C&I) solar pv projects and suggesting technical and design improvements. You will need to prepare and manage technical specifications, bills of materials, tender management, negotiating and selecting BoP, O&M or EPC and other supply contracts. Driving and participating in business development also forms part of team goals and therefor your own.  This is not an exhaustive description of the role, you will also assess technical risks, monitor project construction - including site visits, perform due diligence, risk management etc. * Engineering Degree - Electrical or Mechanical * Pr. Eng. or registered as a Candidate Pr. Eng. with ECSA * Your CV should demonstrate between 3 - 5 years’ design experience on Solar PV projects, energy yield assessments, layouts, and connection interfaces * You have experience and knowledge working on solar simulation packages such as PVSyst, pvSpot, HOMER, Helioscope etc. * Your technical advisory experience will be greatly valued (investors and project developers) * Experience on various Solar PV applications e.g., off-grid, grid-tied, ground mounted, flush mounted, hybrid, fixed tilt, single/multi axis tracking, battery and/or generator integration will be looked for * Can you do some draughting on AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup/Layout etc. then great! * Engineering Degree - Electrical or Mechanical * Pr.
