The Software Sales Representative will be responsible for obtaining new customers and retaining these customers for the client through uncovering customer need and matching it to the appropriate SaaS solution. This is done by predominantly targeted outbound calling as well as responding to marketing generated leads. The successful candidate will work within the sales team reporting to the Sales Manager as well as other function managers and team members to ensure that client products delivers an excellent customer experience and customer value.   Sales • Developing business growth opportunities with small to mid-large enterprise companies with a national presence • Developing pipeline by building interest with new prospects and clients resulting from your own outbound research and activities including email, phone, cold calling, and/or social media (Hunting) • Responding to all inbound leads and log activities in CRM • Learning and demonstrating a fundamental understanding of solutions and be able to clearly articulate their advantages. • Collaborating and developing strategies with other peers and ensuring the teams’ success. • Setting meetings for product demonstrations with interested prospects (from both inbound leads and your own self-sourced leads) • Performing product demonstrations and shepherding prospects through the entire buying process, from Discovery to close of sale. • Working with pre-sales technical support to develop, demonstrate & propose the appropriate solutions that solve customer problems (measurable metrics). • Participating in networking events and industry conferences to drive lead generation.
