Senior Process Controls Engineer/Capital Plant/Min

*Reference: PS009542-JL-1* A well-established international engineering company based on the East Rand requires the above to be part of their dynamic team. *Minimum Requirements:* * Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent qualification is essential. * Minimum 7 years’ working experience within the process control/ mining equipment industry is essential. * Root Cause Failure Analysis preferably within the mining industry. * Good communication, interpersonal and interpretational skills are required. * Computer literacy with knowledge of MS Office is essential. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Must have excellent organizational and time management skills. * Critical thinking and decision-making skills are required. * Must have a valid driver’s license. * *E-mail CVs to (jeff@talentsphere.world)(mailto:jeff@talentsphere.world)* *The successful candidate will be responsible for:* * Coordinating, developing and reviewing Process Control design work and engineering proposals. * Liaising with relevant stakeholders to effectively resolve Process Control issues in a timely and accurate manner. * Analysing and recommending changes that would improve plant and Process Control engineering performance. * Providing technical expertise in support of capital projects, process evaluation, and project modifications. * Determining cost of engineering, labour, equipment and materials for process improvements. * Proposing and validating design ideas to improve plant SHE performance, cost effectiveness, operability and maintainability. * Assuring process documentation is regularly developed and maintained. * Ensuring compliance and enforcement of company, safety, environmental, governmental policies and regulations as they apply. * Providing weekly/monthly reports on operating results and activities. * Staying abreast of the latest developments in the process control engineering. * Providing coaching and guidance to junior engineers to support development of technical expertise within the company. * *E-mail CVs to (jeff@talentsphere.world)(mailto:jeff@talentsphere.world)* *Salary package is negotiable based on level of experience.  * *Should you not hear from us within 2 weeks, please consider your application unsuccessful.* R
