Furthermore, this opportunity offers many perks, flexitime and flexible working hours, challenging and varied projects in a fast growing and dynamic organization with excellent growth and learning possibilities.  Design and fabrication of materials handling robotics systems Industrial instrumentation PLC Programming Application of Business Principles AutoCAD 2D Drawings Compilation of costing and proposal documents Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer Operations Research and statistical modelling Meticulously analytical problem solving, numerate, apply logical and practical thinking Professional Customer Service and relationship building Take ownership to resolve bottleneck issues, work well under pressure to adhere to strict deadlines, with attention to detail  Organize, prioritize and manage time effectively Take leadership   Minimum B Eng / BSc Engineering / B Tech degree Minimum 8-10 years' related experience Professional registration with ECSA (PrEng) will be advantageous Experience in Design and fabrication of materials handling robotics systems Knowledge of Industrial instrumentation Sound understanding of PLC's including PLC Programming Knowledge of robotics, including robotic system design and programming Sound experience with Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer Solid understanding of Operations Research and statistical modelling MS Office 365 - knowledge of Teams, Excel, Word, One Drive, Sharedrive, Outlook, MS Projects Manufacturing experience in FMCG sector preferred Costing and proposals experience Previous experience in designing factories as a factory engineer Must be a good Team player but also able to work independently Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills Must be tenacious with good work ethic Able to handle pressure well, resolve difficult situations within strict deadlines  Organizational and strong leadership skills Must have valid driver's license and own reliable transport Mustbe willing to travel, sometimes for periods away from home
