A Large Mining house based in the Gauteng area is looking for an experienced Mine Manager.
*Duties:*
* Responsible for carrying out the legal responsibilities of the 3.1a appointee
* To manage safe and cost-effective mining and development of ore reserves accord to a Project scope and plan in order to ensure the profitability of the organisation
* Ensure that mining systems, processes, policies, procedures, standards and resources are in place and aligned to meet the short and long term demands of the operation
*Qualifications:*
* Mining Engineering Tertiary Qualification
* Mine Managers Certificate of Competency Metalliferous

The applicant must be proficient with structural and civil design using Prokon or similar design software, the SANS building and wind codes, and general design principles.
The role encompasses detailed structure design, client interaction, project management, creating of cutting/material lists. The civil and mostly structural designs for various structures optimized for PV panel mounting
Required:
* Structural engineering qualification (BEng, BTech) or similar;
* Proficient in Prokon or similar software;
* Drivers licence;
* Computer & mathematical skills;
* ECSA registered, Pr.Eng registered or imminent registration in the near future.
* Technical design experience.
* Structural and Civil Background.
R15k - 24k pm, negotiable, market related depending on experience.
