Our client is looking for an experience Logistics engineer to join their Development team. Your background need to have a proven track record of Logistics engineering projects and continuous improvement experience.
* Continuous improvement projects within Logistics
* Implementing new logistics engineering projects
* Improve total logistics cost and delivery lead-time
* Facilitating tenders with 3PL service providers
* Optimise the delivery supply chain network
* Managing the analysis and coordination of the logistics engineering studies and projects
* Completed degree; Industrial engineering or Supply chain
* 4 year experience managing a small team in Logistics / Supply Chain
* 4 years’ experience in logistics engineering role
R750 - R900K + performance bonus

The applicant must be proficient with structural and civil design using Prokon or similar design software, the SANS building and wind codes, and general design principles.
The role encompasses detailed structure design, client interaction, project management, creating of cutting/material lists. The civil and mostly structural designs for various structures optimized for PV panel mounting
Required:
* Structural engineering qualification (BEng, BTech) or similar;
* Proficient in Prokon or similar software;
* Drivers licence;
* Computer & mathematical skills;
* ECSA registered, Pr.Eng registered or imminent registration in the near future.
* Technical design experience.
* Structural and Civil Background.
R15k - 24k pm, negotiable, market related depending on experience.
