Our client, a dynamic Engineering Consulting company in the building services industry, requires the full time services of a seasoned ECSA registered Professional (Pr Eng) Senior Mechanical Engineer to fill the role Head of Department Mechanical Engineering at their offices in Cape Town. This opportunity offers exciting challenges in multi-disciplinary engineering consulting services and exciting projects in energy, infrastructure, building etc. for a strong leader with excellent people skills. HVAC and Wet Services designs and installations Prepare Tender specifications and bill of quantities (BOQ), cost estimates and fee proposals Site monitoring and contractor management Attend site meetings Deal with contractual related matters Cost control - budget management Technical writing and reporting Liaison with clients, utilities and other engineering disciplines B Eng or BSc Eng in Mechanical Engineering 10+ years' experience in Mechanical Engineering - HVAC and Wet Services design and installations The following is experience is essential, -              Experience in HVAC designs and installations -              Experience in Wet Services designs and installations -              Experience in Tender Specifications and BOQ’s -              Experience in Site monitoring and Budget management -              Strong leadership and people skills -              The ability to delegate work and good management skills -              Good problem-solving skills with strong technical ability in Building Services Sign-off engineering documents in building services MUST have own reliable transport, prepared to travel MUST be fully bilingual - Afrikaans and English   The following requirements are viewed as a strong advantage, -              Fire designs and Installations -              CAD or Revit Drafting experience It should be noted that preference shall be taken for candidates that have worked in Consulting Engineering Market related - negotiable depending on qualifications and experience B Eng or BSc Eng in Mechanical Engineering 10+ years' experience in Mechanical Engineering - HVAC and Wet Services design and installations The following is experience is essential, -              Experience in HVAC designs and installations -              Experience in Wet Services designs and installations -              Experience in Tender Specifications and BOQ’s -              Experience in Site monitoring and Budget management -              Strong leadership and people skills -              The ability to delegate work and good management skills -              Good problem-solving skills with strong technical ability in Building Services Sign-off engineering documents in building services MUST have own reliable transport, prepared to travel MUST be fully bilingual - Afrikaans and English   The following requirements are viewed as a strong advantage, -              Fire designs and
