EPC Project Manager Market Related

You are a dynamic Project Manager, a brilliant negotiator with strong technical and problem-solving abilities!   *Is this you?* You are a professionally registered Engineer or Project Manager that’s been working with EPCs for over 5 years, and you are comfortable with running projects from design to handover. You have excellent communication skills, and you can communicate at all levels. You are comfortable working autonomously and you are a born leader. Decision making and problem solving comes naturally and you enjoy travelling nationally and internationally.   *What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)* You will be responsible for project managing large utility scale EPC projects here in South Africa. If you don’t already know; this will include compliance, budgets, costs, quality, schedules, risk, contracts, engineering, integration, security, and stakeholder management. You will enjoy this role as you will have full control over ensuring the successful outcome of these EPC projects. You will be responsible for adopting or improving on the necessary standard processes to minimize project risk and maximize performance. Amongst other responsibilities you need to comply with the QHSE regulations, legislation, standards, codes, and requirements here in South Africa.   *Where you’ll be doing it* Join an international organization, one of the largest wind energy construction companies in the world as their Project Manager here in South Africa. They are vibrant and forward thinking, valuing the ability to think outside of the box.   *What you’ll need* A relevant engineering tertiary education is expected, complimenting no less than 10 years working experience on EPC projects within the renewable energy sector. Project management experience on wind farms specifically will be your advantage over other applicants. You need to be a problem solver and peace maker.
