Environment and Stakeholder Engagement Specialist

Our reputable client has vast industry knowledge and expertise within the Mining sector, Oil & Gas, Renewable and Agricultural sectors and is looking for an experienced and professional Specialist to join their esteemed team.* * *Prepare and compile information material related to resource and development projects.* * *Manage and coordinate public participation processes. * * *Facilitate public and authorities meetings. * * *Prepare issues-response reports. * * *Provide social input into the scoping and Environmental Impact Assessment processes. * * *Provide support and guidance for more junior members of the Stakeholder Engagement department. * * *Compile and review documentation. * * *Direct and guide fieldworker teams and translators where necessary. * * *Working in close collaboration with specialists from other disciplines. * * *Liaise with clients and authorities. * * *Compile and write reports for submission to the client and necessary authorities. * * *Carry out business development activities relating to the Stakeholder Engagement Department.* * *Utilise good minute taking skills* * *Arrange and facilitate public and authorities participation meetings* * *Project manage large, interdisciplinary projects* * *Compile scientific reports and information material* * *Bachelor's degree in communication, social sciences, Environmental Science/ Environmental Management or a related field* * *8+ years’ experience, preferably within an environmental consultancy. * * *A demonstrated knowledge of public participation legislation and processes* * *Project management of large, interdisciplinary projects* Market related * *Bachelor's degree in communication, social sciences, Environmental Science/ Environmental Management or a related field* * *8+ years’ experience, preferably within an environmental consultancy. * * *A demonstrated knowledge of public participation legislation and processes* * *Project management of large, interdisciplinary projects*
