Description
*Purpose:*   A global pharmaceutical company focused on agile and sustainable growth and complex generics is seeking a *Continuous Improvement Lead *who will manage transformation improvement projects and build capability through training and coaching, provide leadership on how to solve problems and improve performance *Key Job Outputs:*   *General* * Drive a culture of continuous improvement leveraging data and insight to drive improvements on site operations * Provide clear direction * Identify opportunities and define the organizational structure of projects * Conduct process improvement interventions * Ensure the translation of the business operational strategy into tactical project plans to deliver both tangible and intangible results * Ensure performance improvement, cost reduction and lead time improvement, * Manage capability building and cultural change * Identify, quantify opportunities and issues through analysis of manufacturing site * Oversee production processes ensuring that production is accurate and cost-effective * Maintain production targets by ensuring that the required documents products are delivered daily * Implement site efficiency reports and ensure alignment to site business improvement strategic objectives * Measure, report and monitor efficiencies in the various departments and implement continuous improvements for efficiency improvements * Optimised workflow design and business solutions * Apply statistical methods and perform mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, staff requirements and production standards * Ensure that deadlines, targets and that measures are signed off * Ensure that plans are implemented and monitored * Ensure corrective action and innovative action is used to solve problems * Study new machinery and facilities and see their effect on costing and lead-time * Conduct studies of the reliability and performance of plant facilities * Ensure optimal value add to customer by delivering usable solutions to internal and external customers based on validated information * Process improvement, such as cycle time improvement, usage of utilities, cost reduction, increase in yield and minimizing waste * Identify process inefficiencies and wastes of time, money, materials and energy * Conduct studies in operations to maximise work flow and spatial utilisation * Ensure facility efficiency and workplace safety * Facilitate and lead process improvement interventions using best practice methods of team building, OEE, data analysis, problem solving and project management platform * Implement and manage improvements/ projects with clear timelines * Apply industrial engineering concepts to capacity analysis, scheduling and layout planning * Communicate information as per agreed improvement plan and or projects   *Core Competencies: * * Demonstrating tangible business impact * Ability to read, write, and interpret d
