CNC Turning Operator

*Reference: JHB001026-CR-2* Urgently looking for a *CNC Turning Operator in Durban.  *At least 2 - 5 years’ experience on Lathe machines. Must be able to read technical drawings and to able to accurate use measuring equipment such as micrometers. Any Gear Cutting and Hobbing (cutting spines and sprockets with special milling machines) experience will secure your position. * Minimum requirements:* * Matric * 2 years experience on `lathe machines * Able to read technical drawings * Able to use measuring equipment * Ideally cut and grind gears * Experience using CNC turning machines and controls *CNC Turning:* * Must be able to read technical drawings * Use technical / measuring equipment such as micrometers etc. to ensure the parts meets the specs. * set machine and change offsets. *Gear Manufacturing:* * Must be able to: * cut and grind gears * set grinding machines *Fitting & Turning:* * Needs to have work experience on lathe machines or be able to clock up (as it is a similar concept to running a lathe).
