- National Diploma / B.Tech  (Mechatronics / Electrical Engineering  or Process Instrumentation)
- 0â??3 yearsâ?? relevant experience.
- Solid understanding of PLC basics, ladder logic, instrumentation fundamentals, sensors, encoders, motors, VSDs.
- Willingness to travel and get hands dirty onsite.
- Draft and implement PLC logic (Phoenix Contact, Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider, Omron, AB, ABB, etc.)
- Develop and configure SCADA/HMI interfaces and dashboards.
- Perform onsite commissioning, FAT, SAT, and system integration work.
- Troubleshoot automation hardware and comms issues (I/O faults, encoder problems, comms buses, sensors, VFDs, etc.).
- Interpret electrical diagrams, P&IDs, loop drawings.
- Implement industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, MQTT etc.)
- Ensure system compliance with safety standards and risk assessments.
- Prepare documentation (functional specs, manuals, IO lists, as-builts).
