Qualifications
- Matric
- 3+ years experience supervising teams (preferably in yard/industrial/operations environment)
- Basic computer/administration ability (job cards, reporting, checklists).
- Lead, supervise, and direct daily activities of assigned yard staff.
- Enforce discipline, punctuality, and performance expectations.
- Address difficult behavior calmly and confidently, without intimidation.
- Conduct daily toolbox talks and allocate tasks clearly.
- Monitor staff output and intervene where performance drops.
- Plan upcoming tasks in advance (loading, offloading, cutting, sorting, movements).
- Anticipate bottlenecks, material access issues, and equipment requirements.
- Enforce all safety rules, PPE requirements, and yard protocols
