VJ 17476 - Design Engineer x 2 / Underground Minin

You will be responsible for the following:

• Designing of mechanical systems for underground mobile mining equipment using Mechanical techniques and models
• Simulate mechanical systems using software tools such as SolidWorks or Ansys
• Understand the advanced concepts of mechanical systems used in underground mining equipment and can identify and define testing criteria and validation methods based on industry standards
• Create documentation including engineering calculations, FEA Reports, CFD Reports, ECNs, etc. for more complex mechanical systems with minimal guidance and incorporates feedback to revise and improve document quality
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards for complex mechanical systems, navigating legal and regulatory landscapes effectively
• Office setting: some travel to mines, NPD & Test & Validation sites
