Were on the lookout for a passionate and detail-driven Quality Officer whichis responsible for promoting, implementing, and maintaining a safe, healthy, and compliant work environment while ensuring that quality standards are consistently met across all operations. As a Quality Officer, the role involves developing and enforcing safety policies and procedures, conducting regular inspections, audits, and risk assessments, and identifying potential hazards to prevent incidents and injuries. The Quality Officer also ensures compliance with all relevant safety regulations, industry standards, and internal quality requirements. In addition, the role includes providing safety and quality training to employees, maintaining accurate records and documentation, investigating incidents and non-conformances, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall safety performance and quality outcomes within the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Safety:
  • Develop and implement company-wide safety policies and procedures based on regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Ensure that safety policies are effectively communicated to all employees and contractors.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of work areas, equipment, and processes to identify potential hazards or violations.
  • Prepare detailed reports of findings and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks.
  • Organize and conduct safety training programs for employees on topics such as hazard identification, emergency response, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Provide guidance and support to supervisors and managers to ensure safety compliance within their departments.
  • Coordinate safety committee meetings and initiatives to address safety concerns and promote employee participation in safety initiatives.
  • Collaborate with management and department heads to integrate safety practices into daily operations
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and safety-related complaints to determine root causes and recommend preventive measures.
  • Maintain records of incidents and ensure that corrective actions are implemented to prevent recurrence.
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures, including evacuation drills and response protocols.
  • Maintain emergency equipment and supplies, ensuring readiness for use.
