Process Engineer

An opportunity exists for a skilled Process Engineer to support both engineering and manufacturing functions. The role focuses on establishing, maintaining, and optimising manufacturing and assembly processes while ensuring alignment between production capabilities and new product development. The successful candidate will drive process improvements, technology integration, and operational efficiencies within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Education:

• BEng / BTech in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
• Minimum 3 years experience in a multi-disciplinary manufacturing environment
• Proven process automation experience (essential)

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• Support new product development to ensure manufacturing and assembly capability
• Plan new product assembly lines in collaboration with assembly plant management
• Provide technical support for manufacturing processes and equipment
• Initiate and implement process automation projects
• Design and optimise plant layouts
• Maintain and enhance overall manufacturing capability
• Investigate and evaluate latest manufacturing technology trends
• Research, propose, and implement CAPEX projects
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce cost
• Support cost accounting related to work centre and cost centre rate calculations
