Minimum Requirements
- Electrician trade certification or actively completing qualification (semi-skilled candidates considered for Maintenance Assistant roles)
- Experience with solar system installations, maintenance, and fault detection
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and solar PV installations
- Ability to conduct system health checks and detection tests
- Attention to detail and accurate record-keeping
- Valid drivers license
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on existing solar systems to ensure optimal performance
- Conduct system health checks and detection tests to identify issues early
- Support installation teams with technical guidance and ensure adherence to installation standards
- Issue supplementary Certificates of Compliance following maintenance or solar installation work, in line with South African guidelines
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, job cards, and reports
- Ensure safety protocols are followed for personnel, clients, and equipment
- Collaborate with teams to improve processes and optimise system performance
- Provide clear communication to homeowners, installation teams, and internal stakeholders regarding maintenance activities
