Qualification
- Trade qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance
- Minimum 2 5 years proven experience in a food FMCG manufacturing environment responsible for ensuring that all production equipment and utilities are maintained, repaired, and operating efficiently to support safe, high-quality food production.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance systems.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, or overtime if required.
- Perform planned, preventative, and breakdown maintenance on production machinery
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Ensure equipment complies with food safety, hygiene, and safety standards
- Minimize downtime through effective fault-finding and rapid response
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and commissioning
- Follow HACCP, GMP, and health & safety procedures.
- Work closely with production and quality teams to improve equipment performance
