Job Vacancy: Fitter / CNC
Type: PermanentLocation: JHB - Eastern Suburbs
Salary: R200 per hour
Job Purpose:
The successful candidate will be responsible for fitting and assembling components, with a strong focus on working alongside CNC machinery and processes.Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out fitting and assembly of mechanical components
- Operate and work closely with CNC machines
- Interpret technical drawings and CNC programmes
- Assist with the set-up and adjustment of CNC equipment where required
- Ensure components meet required specifications and tolerances
- Conduct routine inspections and quality checks
- Maintain safety standards and workshop discipline
Minimum Requirements:
- Trade-tested Fitter (Red Seal or equivalent)
- Solid experience working with CNC machines
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Understanding of machining processes and tolerances
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
