Factory Foreman

Job & Company Description:

Our client is a wellâ??established organisation operating in a manufacturing environment, seeking a strong and experienced Factory Foreman to manage production activities on the factory floor.
The role is responsible for ensuring production targets are met, quality standards are consistently upheld, and safety regulations are enforced. You will supervise production staff, coordinate resources, monitor processes, and drive continuous improvement while collaborating closely with Procurement, Engineering, Quality, and Management teams.
Youll play a central role in ensuring smooth production flow, reducing waste, optimising efficiency, and supporting the development of a highâ??performance workforce.

Education:

• Grade 12 / Matric (minimum requirement)
• Relevant technical qualification or trade certificate

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Experience:

• 58 years experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• 23 years experience in a supervisory or foreman role
• Proven experience managing production teams and meeting production targets
• Experience with production planning, quality control, and inventory management

Technical / Hard Skills:

• Strong understanding of manufacturing and production processes
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Knowledge of quality control systems and inspection methods
• Strong understanding of health & safety regulations
• Basic inventory control and materials planning knowledge
• Proficient in MS Excel and production/jobâ??tracking systems
• Ability to analyse production data and identify improvement opportunities
