Control & Instrumentation Engineer

This role suits a recent MSc or PhD graduate with strong fundamentals in control theory, instrumentation, and a real interest in automation, data analytics, and Industry 4.0.

Requirements

• MSc or PhD in Electronic Engineering (Control, Instrumentation, Automation, Mechatronics, or similar)

• Solid understanding of control systems and instrumentation principles

• Exposure to PLC/SCADA/DCS platforms

• Power BI experience (dashboards, data modelling)

• Exposure to Python, MATLAB, Simulink, or data analytics tools

• Strong analytical mindset and eagerness to learn

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with design, testing, and optimisation of control & instrumentation systems

• Support PLC, SCADA, and DCS development and documentation

• Prepare control philosophies, I/O lists, loop diagrams, and technical reports

• Assist with instrument selection, calibration, FAT/SAT, and commissioning

• Analyse plant and sensor data and build Power BI dashboards

• Support AI / data-driven initiatives such as predictive maintenance and fault detection

• Work closely with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams
