CNC Programmer

Duties and Responsibilities:

• • Program creation: Analyse blueprints and design models to create and input instructions for CNC machines.

• • Tool and machine selection: Choose the correct cutting tools and set the appropriate machine settings for the job.

• • Process optimization: Develop efficient machining processes to improve production speed and quality.

• • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues during the manufacturing process and make necessary adjustments to the code or machine settings.

• • Quality control: Monitor operations to ensure the final product meets quality standards and complete quality control tests.

• • Collaboration: Work with engineers, machinists, and other personnel to ensure smooth production.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• • Technical skills: Proficiency in MASTER CAM software and SOLIDWORKS Program for drawings, a solid understanding of machine tooling, and knowledge of material properties

• • Analytical and problem-solving skills: The ability to dissect complex jobs, interpret technical documents, and think creatively.

• • Detail-oriented: A keen eye for detail is crucial for creating precise instructions.

• • Education: Many positions require a certificate or associate degree in CNC programming, machining, or a related field.

• • Advantage: If candidate can use SOLIDWORKS program for drawings as the company uses this software and programs.
