- Operate chainsaw to fell trees, cut logs, prune branches, and clear vegetation as directed
- Assess work area for hazards and plan safe felling or cutting operations
- Maintain and sharpen chainsaw ensuring equipment is in good working order
- Perform daily safety checks and proper disposal or stacking of logs and brush
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental procedures, including use of PPE
- Work collaboratively with other team members on landscaping, vegetation control, or tree removal projects
- Slasher
- Handling of weed killer
- Ropes
Grade12 / Matric
2 - 3 years operating chainsaw in forestry landscaping or related work
