Key Responsibilities:
Qualifications and Skills:
- Develop accurate and detailed architectural drawings, plans, and 3D models using AutoCAD.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure designs meet project specifications and standards.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailing.
- Assist in creating cost estimations and bills of quantities using Microsoft Excel.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Update and revise drawings based on feedback from stakeholders or site requirements.
- Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and project documentation.
- Support project teams with technical input during planning and execution phases.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology, Draughting, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CAD Draughtsman in architectural design and estimations.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in AutoCAD (2D and 3D) for creating and editing architectural drawings.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills for cost estimations, data analysis, and reporting.
- Knowledge of other CAD software (e.g., Revit) is a plus.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawings and calculations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving skills to address design and estimation challenges.
- Additional Requirements:
- Understanding of architectural design principles and construction processes.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations (preferred).
- Must have a valid drivers license and own vehicle
- Working Conditions:
- Standard office environment with occasional site visits as required.
- Ability to work on-site or hybrid, depending on project needs (if applicable).
