Assistant Technician

A growing industrial services company is seeking a hands-on Assistant Technician to join their on-site team. This is a permanent role providing technical support in maintaining, repairing, and testing industrial machinery and material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist skilled technicians with troubleshooting, repair, and routine maintenance of equipment.

• Document service activities and maintain accurate maintenance records.

• Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards at all times.

• Support installation and testing of machinery as required.

• Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and safely.

Requirements & Skills:

• Technical certifications or diplomas in a relevant field are a plus.

• Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge, with hands-on experience preferred.

• Ability to read mechanical drawings and understand electrical circuits.

• Strong organizational and documentation skills.

• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.

• Physical fitness and ability to work safely in industrial environments.

• Previous experience in industrial machinery, material handling equipment, or mechanical engineering is advantageous but not mandatory.
