Daily Inspection Tasks
lnspect trailers for visible damage
check tryres,wheel nuts,and wheel nut indicators
check lights and electrical connections
lnspect air hoses and brake lines for leaks
check landing legs and locks
Basic Maintenance Tasks
Grease trailer components (kingpin,landing legs, suspension)
Replace lights and bulbus
Replace mud flaps
Tighten loose bolts and fittings
Replace air hoses or electrical suzie lines
Brake System Assistance
Assist with brake pad or brake shoe replacements
lnspect brake chambers and slack adjusters
check air leaks in brake system
Tyre and Wheel WORK
Remove and fit trailer wheels
Assist with tyre replacement
check wheel bearings (under supervision)
Structural and Body WORK
Fit reflectors and safety markings
Workshop Duties
clean and maintain tools and work area
Assist qualified mechanics with repairs
Report faults during inspections
