Qualified Motor Mechanic

Role: Qualified Mechanic
Location: Hermanus, Overstrand, Western Cape
Salary: TBC

Requirements:

• Minimum 35 years experience as a qualified mechanic within a workshop environment
• "Red Seal" qualification or similar trade certification will be advantageous
• Strong technical and mechanical knowledge
• Good communication skills
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Valid drivers licence
• Computer literacy and experience with workshop administration
• Proactive, with the ability to take initiative

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance to a high standard
• Ensure all work is completed efficiently and within agreed timeframes
• Maintain quality control and uphold workshop standards
• Assist with general workshop administration where required
• Support a smooth workflow within the workshop environment
• Engage with customers where needed regarding repairs and feedback
• Adhere to all safety procedures and workshop policies

A 3-month probation period will apply. Upon successful completion, the role will become permanent.
