Experience

- Prepare and produce detailed 2D and 3D drawings of crane and hoist parts, assemblies, and layouts using CAD software.
- Interpret engineering concepts, specifications, and technical data to create accurate drawings for manufacturing use.
- Update, revise, and maintain drawing documentation to reflect design changes or improvements.
- Liaise with engineering and manufacturing teams to clarify design intent and resolve technical issues.
- Ensure drawings meet industry standards, internal quality controls, and customer requirements.
- Assist with bill of materials (BOM) preparation linked to production drawings.
- Generate and manage drawing revisions within document control systems.
Qualifications & Skills
- National Diploma or Certificate in Draughting/Engineering Drawing or equivalent.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks (or equivalent CAD software).
- Experience in 2D and 3D mechanical drafting.
- Knowledge of engineering standards and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
- Strong technical interpretation and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience in manufacturing or heavy mechanical industries is beneficial.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a draughting or CAD role within a mechanical engineering or industrial manufacturing environment
