Packaging Engineer

* Running systemic & focused packaging improvement projects. * Analysing and reporting key factory measures for systemic improvement. * Improving efficiencies and flow of any process or people where required. * Complex problem-solving champion for packaging relevant processes. * Investigating and resolving packaging related chronic issues. * Managing all packaging projects from inception to final commissioning and sign off, OTIF. * Management of products including all new, improvement and expansion projects. * Developing suitable Gantt charts to ensure projects are suitably managed. * Running and leading trials at suppliers. * Communicating performance between different departments to align key stakeholders. * Aligning packaging to latest developments. * Monitoring mould performance and correct as required. * Identifying additional resources that may be required to ensure deadlines are met. * Approving new artwork and drawings. *Qualification*  * A business/procurement qualification is preferable.    *Experience * * At least 5 or more years procurement and/or office administration experience in an FMCG environment would be suitable. * The ability to work independently and under pressure with minimum supervision, excellent problem-solving techniques and an action-orientated collaborative style will be important attributes to work within this dynamic team environment Market Related  *Qualification*  * A business/procurement qualification is preferable.    *Experience * * At least 5 or more years procurement and/or office administration experience in an FMCG environment would be suitable. * The ability to work independently and under pressure with minimum supervision, excellent problem-solving techniques and an action-orientated collaborative style will be important attributes to work within this dynamic team environment
