Draughtsman - Boilers & Water Treatment

An established company, specializing in boilers and water treatment solutions, is seeking a skilled Draughtsman to join their team.

About the Role:

In this crucial role, you will play a key part in our design and development process. Your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with the MD to understand daily tasks, deadlines, and project plans.
• Participating in brainstorming sessions for innovative boiler and water treatment systems.
• Optimizing existing products and processes to enhance efficiency and performance.
• Focusing on cost-effectiveness throughout the design phase.
• Developing and presenting creative design solutions.
• Utilizing TurboCAD software for the creation of high-quality boiler designs.
• Preparing technical reports for project managers and clients (as needed).
• Diagnosing system failures to pinpoint problem areas.
• Testing repaired systems to ensure functionality is restored.
• Managing drawings in accordance with established procedures.
• Generating quotes for new boiler systems for potential clients.
• Ordering necessary materials based on accepted quotes.

We are looking for a candidate with:

• A minimum qualification in Draughtsmanship or a related field.
• Experience using TurboCAD for technical drawings.
• An understanding of boiler and water treatment systems would be a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
