Duties and Responsibilities

• Document all events and route planning using your diary
• Good communication skills, (speak, read and write English)
• Must be responsible and flexible, and must be hands on individual
• Abide by South African Road Traffic Act, reporting any incidents or accidents and ensuring the safety of other road users
• Ensure daily vehicle/s inspections carried out and to report any faults
• Ensuring vehicles are always washed and well maintained
• Loading and off-loading of boxes in and out of vehicles
• Work closely with logistics controller checking daily incoming goods from manufacturing and preparing daily deliveries into the loading bay
• Check all stock to be loaded and sign the reverse side of delivery notes by ensuring the correctness of goods delivered/collected
• Liaise in a professional manner with customers when deliveries are made.
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately and trip sheets
• Collect from suppliers all consumables and ensure every item is checked as per delivery note
• Required to assist in maintenance when there is no driving or when driving is finished early in the day
• Must be in good health
• Minimum of 3 years' driving experience.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric certificate
• Minimum 3 years experiences in similar role
• Code 10 Drivers licence
• PDP required
• Read, write and speak in English fluently
• Strong organising and multitasking skills
• Confident and proactive approach
• Team Player
• Honest, helpful & dedicated
• Excellent driving record with no major violations
• Polished, well-groomed, and professional appearance
• Preferably own vehicle required

Other Terms and Conditions

• Salary to be discussed
• Probationary period to be served from one to three months
• Ideal candidate should be between the ages of 25 to 35
