Delivery Driver Vacancy

We are a company based in Northriding, Johannesburg North and We are seeking a reliable and responsible Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods from our distribution center to designated locations in a timely manner. The Delivery Driver will follow predetermined routes and ensure deliveries are made safely and efficiently. Additionally, they will be responsible for maintaining accurate delivery records and providing excellent customer service. We prefer candidate around Northgate area.

Responsibilities:

• Safely transport goods to designated locations in a timely manner
• Follow predetermined delivery routes
• Load and unload cargo
• Maintain delivery records accurately
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
• Perform vehicle inspections and routine maintenance
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Report any accidents or incidents to management immediately

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license
• Clean driving record
• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or similar role
• Familiarity with local roads and routes
• Ability to lift heavy objects
• Excellent time management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications:

• Matric
  
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance
• Familiarity with GPS devices and navigation apps
