Driver + Business Developer (Truck & Sales in One) — Johannesburg (Revenue Share)

One truck today. Many tomorrow. You drive and book the work, keeping the calendar full and customers happy—earning a share of each completed job.

Your Responsibilities

• Hunt & Close: Source loads (boards, WhatsApp groups, brokers, local businesses, sites/DCs). Quote fast, negotiate, confirm terms.

• Plan & Execute: Set pickup/drop windows, plan routes, check load specs, manage special instructions.

• Drive & Deliver: Operate safely and professionally; secure goods; hit time windows.

• Proof & Records: Collect POD/waybill, keep a simple job log (date, client, pickup/drop, rate, POD), share ETAs/updates.

• Grow the Lane: Turn once-offs into repeats; map high-yield lanes; suggest add-ons.

Requirements

• SA driver’s licence suitable for the truck (e.g., C1/EC preferred for small/medium trucks).

• Valid PDP (Goods) and clean driving record.

• Smartphone + data; strong WhatsApp/phone presence.

• Negotiation grit, punctuality, honesty, tidy presentation.

• Comfortable operating from Johannesburg and coordinating across Gauteng.

Compensation — Percentage Share

• You earn a share of the price of every completed job. Uncapped.

• Payout timing: on POD received and client payment

Hours

• Flexible, but responsive during pickups/deliveries and business hours.
