The camera is equipped with an excellent high-resolution Sony CCD sensor and a Sony Effio image processor. The varifocal lens used can significantly change the camera's angle of view.

Thanks to the converter's very high resolution, the image is more detailed than that of a standard camera. This high resolution also makes the camera suitable for monitoring systems where the identification of people and vehicles is required, e.g., building entrances, lobbies, gates, passageways, etc. The on-screen display (OSD) menu allows access to various useful functions and settings.

The illuminator's range as indicated by the manufacturer depends on environmental conditions (air transparency, surroundings, wall color, i.e., the reflection coefficient).

The OSD menu control has been placed on the cable. This allows for easy modification of the camera's settings and functions without having to move or disassemble it.
