Having just bought a 1968 Land Rover Series IIA, I saw leaking fuel during the first fill and assumed the tank needed replacing. I did replace the tank and sender which was rusted, but inspecting the old tank shows no signs of a leak and is in relatively good condition. I would suggest it gets a thorough clean before use, but appears usable. It is sold voetstoots however.
