At nearly 3 metres in length (281cm ), this pair of varnished wooden oars has beautiful patina. With coloured oar guards and spoon blades these oars would make an impact in any nautically decorated room of a coastal home. One blade has been expertly reinforced with fibreglass at the back.

The Jutland was the last ship built from oak for the Danish navy. Begun in 1856 and launched in 1860 this vessel has the maximum sail spread as well as steam propulsion. The special ‘prop well’ enabled the propellers to be lifted up into the hull so as not to slow the ship down under sail. The actual vessel was saved and is on display in Denmark today. The model is an expert level build from Billings boat. The model kit cost over $658 and has all the rigging in the correct layout, canon and deck decoration in good condition. The display case measures 110*72cm. At over a metre wide this is an impressive maritime display.
