• R5000 per month for 3-month probation
• R6,000 after successful probation

 Role Summary

We are looking for a friendly, reliable Barista & Social Media Assistant to join our new café.

During the early months business will be quiet, so this role includes coffee preparation, POS management, and basic content creation for social media.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow with the brand as we expand.

☕ Key Responsibilities – Barista Duties

• Prepare espresso-based drinks (latte, cappuccino, americano, iced coffee).
• Operate and maintain the espresso machine, grinder, ice machine, blender, and other café equipment.
• Follow all recipes and standards for consistency and quality.
• Keep the bar area clean, organised, and stocked at all times.
• Prepare basic ingredients (milk, syrups, boba if needed).
• Assist with opening and closing procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service.

茶 POS & Online Ordering Responsibilities

• Operate the POS system (Yoco, Zapper, or similar).
• Handle cash, card, and online payments.
• Manage online orders from delivery apps (Mr D, UberEats, or internal system).
• Update product availability and report issues immediately.
• Ensure accurate order preparation and packaging.

 Social Media & Marketing Responsibilities

• Take high-quality photos and short videos of drinks, behind-the-scenes, and daily café life.
• Post content on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook according to the weekly plan.
• Engage with comments and messages.
• Follow trending sounds, hashtags, and content ideas.
• Promote specials, new drinks, and customer interactions.

(No advanced editing needed — simple mobile editing like CapCut or Canva is enough.)

• Friendly personality and good communication skills.
• Interest in coffee or willingness to learn barista skills.
• Comfortable using a smartphone and basic apps.
• Able to work independently and follow instructions.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Must be able to work clean and maintain good hygiene.
• Social media experience is a bonus, but training can be provided.
