PD-DP adapter Box

DP or PD (Pulse Drive) regulators receive their drive signal from the ECU, which checks the battery’s condition and sends the right PWM signal to the DP regulator. Using ordinary testers or alternator bench testing without the TA277 Adapter Box can damage DP-type regulators.

The Adapter Box also supplies an AC stator output signal that modern multifunction regulators use for rotation detection and soft start control. It even includes the LED warning lamp drive signal.
