Deals Controller

Daddy's Deals: We are South Africa’s leading savings site, based out in Cape Town, with presence across the country. We are currently going through a website revamp, where we aim to continue delivering amazing memories and incredible exclusive savings locally as well as internationally. In light of that, our team continues to grow exponentially. We looking to appoint a deals’ controller
Role purpose:
Deal Controller is responsible in ensuring all the deals preliminary signed-off by Sales and Merchants are verified in meeting the company standards, in terms of length, terms and all other necessary documentation. Once the verification process is complete, the controller ensures the rest of internal and external stakeholders are briefed and the deal shall go into production.
 
Key accountabilities:
• Full 360 co-ordination of deal review / briefing / production / client liaison / sales reporting including potential 3rd party advertising campaigns
• Verification and tracking of deals as per verification process
• Includes briefing of deals into production; promotional planning with marketing; liaising with merchants with regards deal live dates; QC / deal changes prior to live; post-deal performance/stats.
Requirements:
• Experience in traffic/project management
• Experience communicating with both internal and external stakeholders
• Advantage if the person worked within the online publishing space
• Strong digital skills i.e., Microsoft office apps, communication platforms (Trello / Slack / CRM).
• Ability to adopt/learn about new PM technologies.
